VAMA Convention
The VAMA organizes an annual national convention to allow Vietnamese physicians, dentists and pharmacists an opportunity to share our unique Vietnamese heritage with colleagues in the health field. In addition, the convention allows the participants an opportunity to take numerous CME courses to stay current with today's health issues.
For 2012, the VAMA National Convention will be held in Orland, Florida at the Marriott World Center from August 3 - 5, 2012. From August 5-12,2012, the VAMA CME cruise on board the "Allure of the Seas" ship will take off for an educational adventure to the East Carribean islands. More information coming soon!!!

About Vietnamese American Medical Association
The Vietnamese American Medical Association (VAMA) was established in 1987 as a non-profit organization for physicians of Vietnamese heritage who live and practice in the United States. From 1987 to 2011, the VAMA has grown and matured rapidly. The VAMA serves as a centralized forum for Vietnamese health care professionals, including physicians, dentists, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals, who live and practice in the United States. The VAMA establishes a venue for members to participate in continuing education programs related to public and private health care issues, diagnoses and treatments of diseases, and community outreach programs.

Dear Colleagues,
My name is Jonathan Hoang Lam, MD, the current President of VAMA.
I am writing to introduce our organization to you, and hopefully you will participate in our future activities.
